“I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people”. Vincent van Gogh
Four reasons why romantic relationships are worthwhile:
- People in committed relationships tend to report greater levels of well-being (well-being = the state of being comfortable, healthy and happy).
- Research shows that being in a long-term romantic relationship can improve your ability to cope with stress.
- You are less likely to suffer from mental illness, such as depression.
- Most importantly, a large amount of research shows that those in long-term relationships or marriages, are more likely to live longer.
